A big win for DTC member Mike Mason this weekend in North Wales, in the Conwy Mountain Triathlon. Triathlon – but not as we know it! Kayak, Run, MTB. The kayak route goes 13km upstream from Conwy to Dolgarrog Bridge. Then it’s a 12km fell run into the lesser known parts of the Carneddau mountain range in the Snowdonia National Park. After a 19 km MTB route through Gwydyr Forest, including many single track sections of the Marin Trail, Mike completed the event in 3:20:37.
