Today 4 members completed the Channel swim. Libby, Jenny, Jacki and Michael landed in France after nearly 14 hours. A different kind of challenge from the typical triathlon, the channel swim (even as a relay) brings a different level of danger into the picture – big seas, big ships, big cold. The weather was good, the sea looked pretty calm for considerable periods of time. But when you’re alone in the dark, swimming toward the lights through the waves after 12+ hours, it’s a big deal. Well done to all of you, chapeaux!
